THE 25th ANNUAL ENBRIDGE CANOE FOR KIDS

Registration is OPEN!

Typically, we would be very busy gearing up for our annual event Enbridge Canoe for Kids. Due to COVID19, our longest and largest annual fundraiser is effectively postponed until September. This event has meant a great deal to our organization, raising crucial funds for our camp programming. It is also celebrating an amazing milestone – 25 years! We need your support now, more than ever, to ensure that we can continue to provide our kids with the important social, physical and character building skills and are able to resume our normal programming as soon as it is safe to do so.

Christie Lake Kids has been working hard to stay connected to our families by developing and implementing daily online programming for our kids during these difficult and uncertain times. This year, we will be running 6 weeks of virtual and Camp in a Box programming with approx. 50 campers per week. Each day, we’ll host a series of live programs with small groups of campers and staff. Campers will be guided through hands-on activities and games using the materials in their boxes. Campers will also have access to pre-recorded tutorials and activities to complete anytime during the week, using materials provided in the boxes. Our goal is to provide a balance between online and outdoor/offline programming to keep kids engaged in play-based, creative activities this summer.

While we can’t celebrate on its historical date, in our usual fashion – we do want to connect with our C4K community! Let’s rally our teams, start fundraising and keep the spirit and momentum that this community has built for the past 25 years ALIVE!
